A website about living brainily (cleverly or intelligently).
I'm really, really smart. I might not be a genius, but I am very intelligent. Brainy. And I want you to live brainily too.

How do I know this without being an egotistical fake? Well, when I was 17 years old, I got one academic mark that became a turning point in my life. I did my high school exams to enter university in the state of New South Wales, Australia. I studied hard...most Asian students in Western countries are stereotypically nerds. I got my results back - the UAI (Universities Admission Index) - and though I made stupid mistakes in my exams, I still got 98.05 out of 100!
I never imagined I'd be that smart! The UAI, as it says on Wikipedia, was an old index " indicating the rounded percentile rank of a student who undertook the Higher School Certificate". This meant I was approximately in the top 2% of the student population. Wow, I was impressed!
This website was started on a whim. I have a slight fetish for acquiring internet domains, and saw brainily.net pop up as available. I thought it had a cool feel to it, so acquired it. I reflected that though my body encases my brain like the landlord of my all thought processes, most of my experiential sensations are in fact overseen by a constant stream of consciousness that is my brain in action.
I decided that if I'm one of the smartest people I know, within my small circle of family and friends, then I'm going to a) satisfy my unending desire to acquire dotcom properties and acquire brainily.net b) own up to my much neglected intellectual powers (sometimes neglected due to being humble) c) create a website at this address which will be all about being brainy.
This could help other people who are brainy and people who aren't quite established as brainy yet to become brainier in life, and thus live a better, healthier and happier life.
Here is celebration of all things brainy...from thinking to daydreaming to problem solving to successful adulting ingredients.
Welcome, and joyful exploring!
